Meet Stephanie.

At the age of 7, my twin brother and I were adopted. Before then, life left her a lot of room to figure things out for myself as we moved around with different family members. I was expected to learn things on my own, take the reins, and figure out what was right and wrong. As an adult, I ultimately settled down in Southern California where I met my husband and step-daughter. I followed my passion and earned a degree in Interior Architecture and Design, helping people bring their dream homes to life. I eventually ended up having two children of my own and decided to stay home with them.

I can attest that life with children isn't easy, but with a lot of love and kindness, it can be so much more enjoyable. Employing the philosophy of Aware Parenting, I strive to provide my children with everything I didn't have, but so desperately needed. That desire drives my parenting methods, as I aspires to be the most grounded, pragmatic parent I can be. I believe that children are much more capable than many adults give them credit for; and that with a little extra patience and understanding of the respect from parent to child and vice versa, we can open countless doors for an enjoyable parent/child relationship - one where both the child and adult feel safe and heard.

Everyone has a story, and sharing mine has always been important to me. My growing children have paved the way for sharing snippets of my life through the photos I take and experiences I extend to my friends & followers. I strive to communicate to other parents that there is no such thing as achieving perfection, but instead emphasize the power of fostering constant progress.

Meet Analicia.

My name is Analicia Solis-Yanez, but those close to me usually call me Vita, which is a nickname I hold dear to my heart because my grandfather came up with it when I was younger. I was born and raised in Mexico and moved to the US when I was 14 years old - I’m 26 now. I am married to Luis, who is the most loving, supportive, and responsible person that I have ever met. He jokes around with me and says, “que lo agarre pollito,” which is a Mexican expression used when a woman in the relationship is older than a man. I find it funny because I’m only five months older than him - not to mention that age is irrelevant when it comes to the special bond that we have.

On September 25, 2017, our lives completely changed. We were no longer just a couple, but now a family. God gave us the blessing of becoming parents to (in our eyes) the most precious and perfect little boy. We named him Ian, because in Scottish, Ian means Gift from God - and he is truly our gift from God. I can still vividly remember every second of my labor; the way he scratched my chest right after he was placed on me. These memories are priceless, and I will never forget them. I’ll probably remind him when I’m sending him off to college. As a first-time mother, it’s been an adventure and every day is a learning experience that has changed me completely as a person, for the better.

Meet Jazmine.

I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. From a young age, I wanted to become a schoolteacher, but I also had a passion for fashion and finding the beauty in life. As a young girl, I would cut my socks to create clothes for my Barbies. Today, I am still that fun, imaginative girl blossoming into womanhood. Now as a wife, mother of 3, and Early Educator for LAUSD, I am still playing dress-up (this time around with my kids in tow)!

I love to capture the beauty of motherhood and everyday life, and I intend to demonstrate to others that you can have what some consider to be a “normal job," but still design a unique, deeply fulfilling, fun, and meaningful life. As most parents realize, life is not always easy; but I am a firm believer that life is what you make of it. I choose to make life beautiful, and in capturing the moments I cherish, I endeavor to share in the celebration of parenthood and the joys of life!
